Edit a PDF like a Word document
Open a PDF and change its text right in your browser. Tiho Docs rebuilds it as an editable .docx with every line, font and picture where it was. Free, no sign-up, and the file is never uploaded.

How to edit a PDF
- Open docs.tiho.one and choose your PDF, or drop it onto the page.
- Edit it like any document: fix a typo, rewrite a sentence, add a paragraph or a picture.
- Save it as a Word .docx, or make a PDF of it again.
Everything stays where it was
Lines break where they broke in the PDF, the fonts are the PDF’s own, and pictures keep their places. You edit the page you saw, not a jumble of text.
Your PDF is never uploaded
The conversion runs inside your browser. The file does not go to our server or anyone else’s; only what you choose to put in the Tiho cloud does.
Password-protected PDFs open too
If a PDF is locked, Tiho Docs asks for its password and opens it once you type it. Nothing is cracked: you need the password.
Free, without a watermark
No account, no trial, no stamp across your pages. Editing PDFs costs nothing, in the browser and in the apps.
PDF to Word, without a converter site
Need the text of a PDF in Word? Open the PDF here and save it as .docx: you get a real Word document that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Pages, not a picture of the page.
On your Mac, iPhone and Android phone
The Tiho Docs apps open a PDF the same way: it becomes a document you can edit, saved as a new .docx, and the PDF itself stays untouched.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Opening, editing and saving PDFs is free in the browser and in the Tiho Docs apps, with no account and no watermark. Only the optional Tiho cloud, which keeps your documents online, is paid.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is turned into a document inside your browser, on your device. It reaches our server only if you save it to the Tiho cloud yourself.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
Tiho Docs edits the text a PDF contains. A scanned page is a picture of text, and Tiho Docs does not recognize text in pictures, so a scan stays a picture.
Will the edited document look like the PDF?
That is what it is built for: lines, fonts and pictures keep their places. A PDF is a finished page rather than a document, so an unusual layout can come out differently. Look it over before you send it.
Can I save the result as a PDF again?
Yes. Save it as a Word .docx, or make a PDF from it in the same window.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Open docs.tiho.one in any browser and choose a PDF. An account is needed only for the Tiho cloud.
