What the signature proves
That the PDF came from Tiho Docs and has not changed since. It does not say who wrote the text — a signature is not a passport.
Our certificate is our own. Acrobat will show the signature and add that its issuer is unverified. That is honest: we have not bought a certificate from a trusted authority yet, and we will not pretend otherwise.
The time comes from an outside timestamping service, not from us. Our word about a date is worth less than a stranger’s.
